Shelby County Judge Allison Harbison signed a proclamation Tuesday declaring it Rodeo Week in Shelby County. The 62nd annual Shelby County Sheriff's Posse Pro Rodeo will be held at 8 p.m. Friday & Saturday evening at the Shelby County Expo Center. Friday is also "Wear your Boots to Work Day". On hand for the signing were (standing, left) Shelby County Sheriff Willis Blackwell, Shelby County Treasurer and Rodeo Pageant Director Ann Blackwell, Sheriff's Posse President Boo Klein, Shelby County Sheriff's Deputy Roy Bailey and Miss Shelby County Sheriff's Posse Rodeo Queen 2013-2014 Harli Cowdin of Grand Cane, La. Miss Cowdin is also Miss Rodeo Louisiana 2015 and will be competing for Miss Rodeo America in Las Vegas in December.

Center Broadcasting will be live on location on Q-100 KQBB at Wright Chrysler Dodge Ram from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday. Stop by and meet the rodeo clown, announcer, cowboys and Miss Cowdin . There'll be hot dogs as well.
