Mom loved Jesus with her whole heart, and she was ready to go with him when He called her. She waited for Jesus for a very long time. He came to take her home with Him when He had her heavenly mansion prepared. She is rejoicing and singing praises to Jesus in heaven today, and she is walking on streets of gold. She entered the pearly gates in awe, greeted by all the ones she dearly loved and missed so much when they were gone from this earthly life. She is expecting us to join her there, when each of us make our own personal journey across the Jordan into Paradise.

Faithful daughter of her Lord and Savior, she was a servant of His. She sang in the choir at her church for many years.

She prayed for her family every night as she called each one by name.

She baked yummy buttermilk pies for everybody when food was requested.

She was an Eastern Star.

She was Mom and Nannie to her grands and great grands.

She never smoked or drank or cussed.

She never worked outside her home.

She was a prayer warrior. She was a good wife, a good mom and grandmother, a good cook, a good housekeeper, and a good friend.
