Lots of weather across the US. Low to our West is still moving rapidly in our direction for impacts to be felt by us by the mid afternoon and evening hours Thursday.
The National Weather Service in Shreveport has issued a
* Flood Warning for the Attoyac Bayou near Chireno, Texas.
* Until late Friday night... or until the warning is cancelled.
* The Flood stage is 14 feet and the current flood level is already at 15 feet. * Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... The Bayou will continue rising to near 15.6 feet by this evening. The Bayou will fall below flood stage Friday
morning. If we do NOT get the additional rain expected from this next round of forecast rainfall.
* The major impact right now is just minor lowland flooding.
