Mangum Funeral Home announces service for 85-year old Blue Bell Jenkins of Center. She passed away Sunday at Pine Grove Nursing Home in Center. Service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Triumph Kingdom of God in Christ in Center, with burial to follow at West View Cemetery in Center. The wake will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at Mangum Funeral Home. She worked for Holly Farms and the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office. Among Blue Bell Jenkins’ survivors are grandchildren, Lavetha Jenkins & Bobby Scott of Huntsville, Lisa Jenkins & Joe McNealy of Dallas, LaDonna Jenkins & Chadwick Bailey of Houston, LaDerrica Pitts & Gary Williams of Tyler, Chris & Stephanie Jenkins of Huntsville, Veleka Haynes and Krashaun Haynes, both of Houston and Denise Hewitt of Shelbyville.

 

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home of San Augustine announces service for 83-year old Mr. Odus Preston Gautney, Jr. of San Augustine. Service will be at 2 p.m. this afternoon at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, with burial at Liberty Hill Memorial Garden in San Augustine County.

 

Hawthorn Funeral Home in Carthage announces service for 84-year old Boyd A. Caskey of the Old Center Community. Service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Old Center Baptist Church, with military honors and burial at Old Center Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening at Hawthorn Funeral Home. He was U.S. Air Force retired and also worked for the Panola County Road and Bridge District for over 20 years. Among Boyd A. Caskey’s survivors is his wife, Bobbie Caskey of Old Center.

 

Starr Funeral Home of Hemphill announces service for 101-year old Henry Thomas Webb of Geneva. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Starr Funeral Home. Service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Starr Funeral Home Chapel, with Masonic Graveside Service at Myrtle Springs Cemetery on FM 330 North in Geneva.

 

UPDATE: Hicks Mortuary of Center announces graveside service for infant Jaecyon Matthew Short. Service will be at 11 a.m. this morning at St. Paul’s Baptist Church instead of Westview Cemetery, due to weather. 

 

Hicks Mortuary of Center announces service for infant DeMarcus Bennett, Jr. Service will at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bright Morning Star Baptist Church in Center, with burial at Westview Cemetery in Center. Visitation will be from 4-6 p.m. Friday at Hicks Mortuary.
