A Center 12-year old got the jolt of his life when he was knocked unconscious from an in-direct lightning striking inside his home Sunday evening.

According to Amy Atchison, her son, Cade was standing in the kitchen of their Watlington Street residence with his hand on the stove around 6 p.m. when lightning hit the stove throwing Cade back, knocking him out.

She said that after a trip to the ER for blood work and an EKG he’s going to be OK.
