CHS Tennis dominates district tournament, headed to regional event

Center Tennis competed in the District Tournament at Center ISD on Monday, April 6th. The program as a whole won the overall Varsity and JV boys and girls district championship in a landslide. Henderson placed 2nd, Tatum came in 3rd, Carthage placed 4th and Rusk brought in 5th in overall varsity points.

The individual results are as follows:
Boys V doubles:

All 1st and 2nd place finishers will advance to the Region 3 Championship on April 20-21 @ Bryan HS. Center will advance 14 players, Henderson 2 players.

Center Tennis also dominated the overall district in JV.

Coach Dykes explained, "Outstanding showing and words cannot describe how much pride and how much work these players have put into this program and their results continue to show why they are champions. Go Riders!!!"
