The Shelby County Commissioners' Court is expected to take action on two items tabled last month when they meet at 9:30 a.m. this morning.

Those include rental of the old elementary school gym to Denetra Slaughter and Celia Aguilar for their fitness classes and resuming the maintenance on a portion of County Road 4670 as an individual is attempting to sell a parcel of land along the roadway and it's not recognized by the title company.

In addition, commissioners are to adopt and sign resolutions for the 2016 TxDOT Bridge Construction Project, which includes CR 3564 Hilliard Creek, CR 3455 Spinney Creek, CR 3455 Shoat Creek, CR 4256 Tributary of Flat Fork Creek, CR 4916 Flat Fork Creek and CR 4670 McFaddin Creek.

Also, the court is to change the date of the May 25 meeting to Tuesday, May 26 due to the Memorial Day holiday.
