Weather Update @ 12 noon, severe weather events are possible

Several severe weather events are possible...today, tonight, and in the morning...and....again on Sunday....

The first is the storm associated with the cold front and dry line that will be colliding with our warm Gulf air today.  The front is getting movement at a faster pace due to the push of the stronger second front from the West.

We could see this be a moderate risk with hail, high winds, dangerous lightning, an isolated tornado is a slight risk...flooding could pose a risk as some areas where training of the storms will dump 1-2 inches of rain.

SA is in the lower portion of the  risk area, but with the temps in the 80's and humidity approaching 100% these storms could reach the higher risk as the front makes its way through the area between 5 pm and over night tonight.  It is a fast mover.

The front will move back into our area on Sunday as a warm front and collide with the next front and we are then in the bulls eye for the severe weather and because it will be mostly stationary. That will bring with it 2-4 inches of additional rain and due to its slow movement it will keep the rain around most of next week.
