Mangum Funeral Home announces service for 77-year old Billie Eaves McDaniel Davis of the Neuville Community. She passed away Sunday in Lufkin. Service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel, with burial at Spann's Chapel Cemetery, Shelby County. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening at Mangum Funeral Home. She worked for AT&T many years, and also as a nurses aid at Holiday Nursing Home and Green Acres Nursing Home. Among Billie Eaves McDaniel Davis' survivors are children, Kathy & William Ford of Bronson, Debbie & Ronald Loftin of Joaquin and Marty & Ann McDaniel of Joaquin.

Hicks Mortuary in Center announces service for 94-year old Mr. C.D. Kauffman of Shelbyville. He passed away April 2. Service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Carroll Chapel CME Church, with burial at Carroll Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Hicks Mortuary.
