I was just ask about the rain and where we stand for the year.   
   - In the Northern parts of the SA County we picked up 2.5 to 3 inches.   

   - In San Augustine, I put 2.05 inches of rain in the bucket.   

   - In the 103 corridor, I had a report of one gentleman pouring 3.5 inches from his rain gauge.   

   - A man from the Broaddus area said his gauges showed right at 3.00 inches.
   - My totals:  I know it seems to be really wet this year....and it is....so far 2.06" for the month of April...but that said, it is 1.86" below normal for April. We have forecasts still indicating lots of warm and wet weather ahead for the month.
   - That brings our total for the year to 18.04"for the year or about 1.04 inches above normal for this time of year...and....that, is not much wetter than normal.
