Congratulations to Amanda Yates for being awarded a $3,000 scholarship from the Southwestern Livestock Show and Rodeo in Fort Worth, TX. Amanda was eligible to compete for this scholarship by participating at the Jr. Horse Judging contest. She completed an application and was required to submitt an essay titled "My Horse Story".

  

  

Also, April Ramsey exhibited Simmental heifers the Star of Texas Rodeo and won Reserve Grand Champion. 

  

Timpson FFA CDE Teams will be competing at the Area IX FFA CDE contest on April 9th at Sam Houston State University.  Teams competing are:

The Dairy Cattle team will compete at the Area IX Contest at Tarleton State University on April 8th.
