Center's Official Weather Observer Jim Forbes reports March 2015 was a wet one, no doubt as 8.01 inches was recorded, which is 3.41 inches above average. The March rainfall record for Center is 9.07 inches. Year-to-date, Forbes says we've received 19.98 inches, putting us 5.89 inches above normal.

Temperatures extremes for March 2015: High was 85 degrees on March 16; while the low was 24 degrees on March 6.

Forbes also shared some April records.

Forbes says the high rainfall amount was in April 1991 when 14.10 inches of rain fell in Center, with the lowest being .57 inches in April 1987.

The highest April temperature  was 94 degress in 1963 and lowest April reading was 28 degrees in 1971 and 1987.
