REVISED: Shelbyville High School One-Act Play to perform at bi-district April 10

The Shelbyville High School One Act Play will compete in bi-district competition at Panola College April 10.

 

At the March 27th District Competition the company received an "Advancing Play" plaque for its performance of William Shakespeare's "A Midsummer Night's Dream".   

 

Best Actor was awarded to Max Fenton for his role as Oberon. Julian Johnson, Bottom, and Jake Fox, Francis Flute,  were named to the All Star Cast, and Jayne Fuller was named to the Honorable Mention All Star Cast for her performance of Robin  Starveling. 

 

Yadira Reyes, sound technician,  received a medal for being named to the Honor Crew. 

 

The Bi-District competition will begin at 1:00 p.m.  Shows will run back to
back.  Shelbyville's approximate performance time as 5th show will be at
4:45 p.m.

 

There is no charge for admission.
