Notice is hereby given that a Special meeting of the City Council will be held on February 17, 2015 at 5:00 pm. at the City Hall, 456 Jacob Street, Timpson, Texas, at which time the following subject will be considered, to-wit:

1.    CALL TO ORDER: Quorum Present

2.     CONVENE IN EXECUTIVE SESSION PURSUANT TO:  Section 551.071, Texas Local Government Code:  Consultation with City Attorney regarding legal issues involving the possible Reduction in Force in the Timpson Police Department, the required policy changes, and the legal risks if any to the City.  Section 551.129 of the Act authorizes a governmental body to “use a telephone conference call, video conference call, or communications over the Internet to conduct a public consultation with its attorney in an open meeting of the governmental body or a private consultation with its attorney in a closed meeting of the governmental body.”  TEX. GOV’T CODE: 551.129. This section only applies to a consultation with an attorney who is not an employee of the city.
