The Panola College Baseball team played four games in two days this past
weekend.  Friday the Ponies visited Eastfield College for a double header
and Saturday the Ponies returned home to square of against Temple College.

*Panola @ Eastfield/Game 1*In game one of Fridays action the Ponies lost
8-5 in seven innings at Mesquet, Tx despite outhitting Eastfield 10 to 9.

Austin Sojka was solid at the plate for Ponies . Sojka went 3-4, drove in
one and scored two runs. He tripled in the fourth inning and singled in the second and fifth innings.

Korey Clark took the loss for Ponies . He lasted just one inning, walked
none, struck out one, and allowed two runs.


*Panola @ Eastfield/Game 2*
In game two the Ponies lost 6-4 in seven innings, despite outhitting
Eastfield in back to back games eight to six.

Quincy Clements was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just 2 1/3
innings, walked one, struck out three, and allowed two runs.

Brett Boudreax lead the ponies on offense as he went two for four with with two RBI's and and run scored.

*Panola VS Temple/Game 1*
In game one of Saturdays action Hunter Uzzle brought home the go-ahead run to give Ponies the lead in the seventh inning, as Ponies hung on to beat Temple 4-3 on Saturday.

Ryan Cheatham looked sharp on the mound. Cheatham gave up just three hits, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out two during his five innings of work.

Ryan Johnson got the win in relief for Ponies . Ryan Johnson pitched two
innings and allowed three runs.

*Panola VS Temple/Game 2*
Ponies lost the ballgame after losing the lead in the sixth inning, as
Temple grabbed a 8-6 victory in seven innings at Carthage, TX.

Jake Arledge was hot from the plate for Ponies . Jake Arledge went 2-3,
drove in one and scored two runs. He doubled in the first inning and
singled in the second inning.

Colton Coffman was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just two innings,
walked none, struck out none, and allowed two runs.
