Tiger Café and Bearcats vs. the Tigers

The last Regular season Tiger Café will be open tomorrow night as the Tigers take on Beckville in 22-2A action.  Last Friday night, the Lady Tigers clinched the District title and will take their perfect district record and 21-9 season record into the game against the Lady Bearcats.  Earlier this year, Tenaha smashed Beckville and with a win tomorrow night, Coach Davison’s squad will enter the playoffs with a “bye” and a 12 game winning streak.  

For the Boys, tomorrow night’s game is important if the Tigers want to keep pace with Shelbyville, Martinsville, and Timpson in the district race.  At 4-3, the Tigers find themselves outside of the playoff picture in 4th place by virtue of their head-to-head record against Martinsville.  However, the Tigers control their own fate this week.  With a win against Beckville tomorrow, a showdown that could have sole possession of 2nd place on the line this Friday at the SEC.  

Action starts with the JV Girls at 5:00 PM followed by both varsity games. The Tiger Café will open at 5:00 as well.
