Panola Ponies fall to Paris Jr. College

Carthage, TX-  The Ponies jumped off to a fast start Saturday evening
versus the Paris College Dragons, leading 23-15 halfway through the first
half.  The Ponies were 11 of 14 from the charity stripe, and shot a high
percentage from the perimeter.  As the final minutes of the half approached
the Ponies were plagued by turnovers and defensive miscues, they went into
the half trailing 34-42.

During the second half Paris began to shoot a high percentage from the
perimeter as the Ponies' shot percentages decreased.  Due to offensive
miscues and foul trouble the Ponies saw their deficit increase, the Ponies
lost the game 65-83.  The Ponies were lead in scoring by Israel Omigie (23)
and followed by, Tommy Heard III (11) and Joshua Morris (10).

The Ponies follow up with action on the road versus the Kilgore College
Rangers, Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. in Kilgore, TX at Masters Gymnasium.
