Shelby County Commissioners' Court to hold meeting this morning

The Shelby County Commissioners' Court has a regular meeting at 9:30 a.m. this morning and among the agenda items for discussion and approval will be a procedure allowing members of the public to comment on any agenda item on that day's commissioners' court agenda.

Also, the court is expected to give approval of a commercial lease with Farmers State Bank for the rental of office space for Pct. 2 Justice of the Peace Marla Denby and Pct. 2 Constable Jamie Hagler.

Commissioners are also expected to adopt a resolution to enroll in the National Flood Insurance Program and adopt a Flood Management Prevention Order for Shelby County.

The court will also discuss and possibly take action to obtain a county credit card or cards to be used for county purchases where charge accounts are not an option.
