The following is the National Weather Service forecast that includes San Augustine County for next 7 days:

- The skies should begin to clear by this evening
- Some areas to our North could still see some frost and freezing temps with the clearing
- Our winds should turn to the South and bring with it warmer weather in 60's for Friday with lots of sunshine
- Sat and Sun will be Sunny and Warm with temps in the 70's.  Lows will continue to fall into the 40's in the evening hours.
- NO severe weather for the next 7 days
- NO precipitation is anticipated for the next 7 days

- SPECIAL NOTE:

We are planning to hold a NWS Meteorologist lead Storm Tracker/Spotter training and certification session.  The session will be either the last week in March or one of the two first weeks in April.  It is open to everyone in the surrounding counties.  It is free.  It is 1 and 1/2 hours long. It is in layman terms. It is especially important to the first response folks...Fire, police, emergency personnel, and Others responsible for restoration and assistance in disasters.
