There's a growl coming from the gas lanes this week as fuel prices are heading back up about as fast as they were dropping.
Nationally, per gallon prices for regular are up a dime in the past week according to gasbuddy.com at $2.14, a three-penny rise in just a day. It's still $1.13 less than this time a year-a-go.
In Texas the state-wide average for a gallon of regular is $1.96, up ten cents in a week.
In Louisiana, a gallon's averaging $1.97, an 11-cent increase within the week.
Locally, the lowest found in Center this morning is $1.98, a 12-cent rise in the past week.
