Shelby County Chamber kicks-off Total Resource Campaign for event sponsorship & membership

The Shelby County Chamber of Commerce is doing something new and exciting this year for event sponsorships and membership.

 

For the next month a revenue generating all-volunteer Total Resource Campaign is being held to reach a goal of $85,000 plus. Five teams are having a friendly competition approaching businesses marketing the chamber's sponsorships and seeking new members.

 

A kick-off luncheon was held at Center Municipal Airport Wednesday as the husband and wife team of James and Meg Camp are leading the charge.

 

Ms. Camp says Total Resource Campaign is new for the Shelby County Chamber and is a "one ask" approach with added benefits sponsorship opportunities.

 

James Camp says each team and team member has their own goals and its competitive.

 

The five team captains are Andi Foster, Diane Tindol, Lacie Payne, Will Lucas and Susan Hairgrove.  The Total Resource Campaign consists of more than 100 sponsorships available. Volunteers assist companies with choosing options best suited to meet the organizations marketing needs.

 

Chamber Executive Director Pam Phelps says TRC offers excellent exposure for companies both at the Chamber's events and within the signature publications.
