Garrison Funeral Home announces service for 73-year old Ron Chauncey of Garrison. He passed away Monday in Nacogdoches. Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Garrison Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Saturday prior to service. Among Ron Chauncey's survivors is his wife, LaMerle Bashinski Chauncey of Garrison; sons, David & Vickie Chauncey and Jeff Chauncey, all of Alberta, Canada and Kevin Chauncey of San Antonio; daughter, Baylie Armstrong of Garrison; step-sons, Terry & Michelle Milford of Oklahoma and Anthony & Kelly Milford of Garrison; step-daughters, Angela & Greg Armstrong of Humble, Mickey Payne of Garrison and Julie Jones of Humble; sister, Phyllis & Lennie Batten of Canada; brother, Bill Chauncey of Canada; and sisters-in-law, Johnnie Ruth Jopling of Garrison, Kaye Chauncey and Nan Chauncey, both of Canada.

 

Mangum Funeral Home a graveside service for 57-year old Robert Boyett of Vidor. Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at McClelland Cemetery, Shelbyville. No visitation is planned. He lived in San Antonio for many years where he was a pharmacy tech. He had lived in Vidor the past year. Among Robert Boyett’s survivors are a sister, Linda Boyett of Vidor; and brother, Kenneth Boyett of Vidor.

 

Graveside service for 87-year old Annie A. McPherson of Center will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Lakeview Memorial Gardens in Longview. The family will receive friends and relatives from 9 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. before service at Lakeview Funeral Home. Annie McPherson’s survivors are a daughter, Phyllis Jacobs of Center; and son, Charles McPherson of Laird Hill. Additional information will be available later.

 

Mangum Funeral Home announces service for 85-year old Roy Monroe Dent of Gary. Service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Joaquin, with burial at New Prospect Cemetery, Timpson. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening at Mangum Funeral Home.

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine announces service for 80-year old Robert N. Caston, a longtime San Augustine resident. He passed away Wednesday in Lufkin. He was retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone. Service will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in San Augustine, with interment in the Liberty Hill Cemetery, San Augustine County. Visitation will be from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Saturday at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home. Among Robert N. Caston’s survivors is his wife, Marie Caston of San Augustine; sons, Robert E. & Nancy Caston of Houston, Ronny & Cindi Caston of San Augustine; and Russell & Amy Caston of Humble; daughter, Rhonda & Bryan Holt of Nacogdoches; sisters, Irene & Thomas Young of Florida, Lillie & Shelton Dickerson of Mississippi, and Mary Ellen & Eugene Barrett of Mississippi.

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine announces 81-year old Kenneth Dixon Comstive of San Augustine passed away Tuesday in San Augustine. The family chose cremation, no service is planned. Among Kenneth Dixon Comstive’s survivors are children, Candace & Jerry San Pietro of Colorado, Kenneth Dixon & Tammy Comstive of Magnolia, and Frank & Tina Williams of Richmond.

Community Funeral Home of Center announces service for 50-year old Miss Gloria Faye Garrett of Center. A wake will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Community Funeral Home Chapel. Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Plesant Grove Baptist Church, with interment at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

 

Community Funeral Home of Center announces servcie for 65-year old Mr. Bobby Ray Edwards of Center.  Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Carroll Chapel Cemetery in Shelbyville.

 

Garner & Sons Mortuary in San  Augustine announces pending service for 76-year old Ms. Elmar Davis of the Cedar Grove Community in Milam. She passed away Tuesday at Hemphill Care Center.

 

Hicks Mortuary of Center announces service for 88-year old Mrs. Myrtle Lee "Mama Teat" Waltz of Center. She passed away Friday at her home. Service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Triumph the Church of Kingdom of God in Christ in Center, with burial at Westview Cemetery in Center. Visitation will start at 5 p.m. Friday. Among Myrtle Lee "Mama Teat" Waltz's survivors are sons, Ray Dean McCollister of Lufkin and Johnny Glenn & Cathy Mosby of The Colony; daughters, Joynce Lynn Johnson of Center and Charlotte & Rev. Sherman Kossie of Nacogdoches; brother, Sam Waterhouse of Ohio; and sisters, Annie Pearl Turner of Ohio, Maxine Greer of Lufkin, Onnie Bell Alexander of Carthage and Gwendolyn & C.W. Garrett of Center.

 

Frazier-Mitchell Funeral Services of Houston announces a graveside service for 72-year old Mr. Paul Toombs. That service will be at 12 noon Saturday at Mt. Zion Cemetery in San Augustine.

 

Cason Monk-Metcalf Funeral Directors in Nacogdoches announces a memorial service for 59-year old Dr. George Robert Hugman III of Nacogdoches. H passed away Monday in Nacogdoches while making rounds seeing patients at Nacogdoches Memorial Hospital. He was Chief Medical Officer for the hospital. A memorial service for family and friends will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Christ Episcopal Church in Nacogdoches. If so desired, memorials may be made to the East Texas Area Council, Boy Scouts of America in Tyler.
