Service will be at 2 p.m. this afternoon at Watson & Sons Funeral Home Chapel, with interment at Neuville Cemetery, Shelby County. Among Sandra Gail Dupre's survivors is her husband, Ben "Cajun Kid" Dupre of Center; children, Michelle & Lamech Waller of Center and Louis Dupre of Logansport; mother, Margaret Lymn of Center; and sister, Moggy Weathers of Huffman.

 

Mangum Funeral Home announces pending service for 57-year old Robert Boyett of Vidor. He passed away Tuesday at his residence. Among Robert Boyett’s survivors are a sister, Linda Boyett of Vidor; and brother, Kenneth Boyett of Vidor.

 

Mangum Funeral Home announces 87-year old Annie McPherson of Center passed away Tuesday at Pine Grove Nursing Home in Center. Service is pending at this time at Lakeview Funeral Home in Longview. Among Annie McPherson’s survivors is a daughter, Phyllis Jacobs of Center; and son, Charles McPherson of Laird Hill. Additional information will be available later.

 

Mangum Funeral Home announces service for 75-year old Lloyd D. Jacks of Center. Service will be at 2 p.m. this afternoon at Mangum Funeral Home, with burial at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.

 

Mangum Funeral Home announces service for 85-year old Roy Monroe Dent of Gary. Service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at First United Methodist Church in Joaquin, with burial at New Prospect Cemetery, Timpson. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening at Mangum Funeral Home.

 

Taylor Funeral Home in Timpson announces service for 86-year old Cecil Arlene Hairgrove of Timpson. Service will be at 2 p.m. this afternoon at Timpson Missionary Baptist Church, with interment at Timpson Missionary Bapitist Church Cemetery. Among Cecil Arlene Hairgrove's survivors are sons, Charley Mack & Vicky Hairgrove of Splendora, Mike & Mary Jane Hairgrove of New Caney, and Pat & Letitia Hairgrove of Timpson.

 

Hawthorn Funeral Home of Carthage announces pending service for 67-year old Mrs. Lois Barton Britton of Gary. She passed away Monday in Joaquin.

 

Community Funeral Home of Center announces service for 50-year old Miss Gloria Faye Garrett of Center. She passed away last Friday at Green Acres Nursing Home in Center. A wake will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Community Funeral Home Chapel. Service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Plesant Grove Baptist Church, with interment at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. Among Gloria Faye Garrett's survivors is a daughter, Melaney Garrett of Center; sisters, Nette Garrett of Carthage, Machelle & Michael Hubbard and Rosaland Moore, all of Center and Mary Garrett of San Augustine; and brothers, Melvin & Felicia Jackson of Lufkin, Tony & Pam Garrett of Tenaha and Demetrius Mosley of Timpson.

Graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Carroll Chapel Cemetery in Shelbyville. Among Bobby Ray Edwards' survivors is his wife, Brenda Jean Edwards of Silsbee; daughter, Jacqueline Edwards Colemen of Silsbee; sons, LaPatrick Edwards of Silsbee; and sisters, Grace McDonald of Tyler, Vernell Sebron of Longview and Joyce Kindle of Ft.
