Center Firemen responded to a reported structure fire on County Road 1005, off FM 711 around 9:40 a.m. Monday morning.
According to Fireman Nathan Phelps, the rent house belonged to Darrell Sanford, the flames were contained to the exterior of the 1,200-sq. ft. structure.
Phelps said a shortage spark from a four-wheeler parked on the back porch of the house may have been the reported source of the flames.
The name of the occupant was not available.
