Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center. Among Hazel Ritter Strickland's survivors are sons, Kenny Strickland of Crosby and Larry & Mary Beth Strickland of Vidor; and sister, Ann & Wayne Barber of Jasper.

Among Rebecca McCord Schriewer's survivors is her husband, Woodrow Schriewer of Center; daughters, Chris & Jeff Holladay of Pasadena & Laurie M. Schriewer of Center; aunts, Peggy & Keith Kennedy of Center and Faye Webster of Center; uncle, Russell & Pearlie Webster of Pasadena; and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Mr. & Mrs. Rudy Baum of Houston.

Mangum Funeral Home announces the death of 89-year old Merline Metcalf of Panama City, FL, formerly of Center. She passed away Saturday in Panama City. No service is planned at this time. Among Merline Metcalf’s survivors are daughters, Helen Garner Olivier of Houma, La. and Delores Harris & Bill Brown of Georgia; and sister, Opal Bradshaw of Waskom.

Community Funeral Home of Center announces service for 64-year old Mrs. Lee Gayle McCollister of Center. Service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Lily of the Valley Church of God in Chirst in Center, with interment at Westview Cemetery. A Wake will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. tonight at Community Funeral Home Chapel in Center.
