Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 88-year old Retired Texas Ranger Captain Newton Wright “Dub” Clark of Austin. He passed away Wednesday in Holly Lake Ranch. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening at Watson & Sons. Service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center. Dub Clark grew up in the James-Antioch Community of Shelby County, and among survivors is his wife, Mary Kay Clark of Austin; sons, Steve & Helen Clark of Whitehouse, Bill & Melinda Clark of Holly Ranch, and Jimmy & Sue Clark of Milam.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 100-year old Christine Honeycutt of Crockett, formerly of Center. She passed away Thursday in Crockett. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Watson & Sons. Service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at Spann’s Chapel Cemetery, Shelby County. Additional information and survivors will be announced at a later time.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 95-year old Alice Joy Ellington Weaver of Center. Service will be at 2 p.m. this afternoon at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at Fairview Cemetery in Center. In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to the Barrett Havran Memorial Fund at Fort Worth Country Day School in Fort Worth, or to the charity of your choice.

 

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine announces service for 87-year old Harold Dean Beasley of San Augustine. Service will be at 1 p.m. this afternoon at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel in San Augustine, with burial in the Mt. Olive Cemetery in Shelby County. Visitation will be from 12 noon to service time at the funeral home.

 

Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home of Carthage announces service for 73-year old Mrs. Jimmie F. Foster Bowlin of Carthage. She passed away Dec. 30 in Carthage. Service will be at 10 a.m. this morning at Jimerson-Lipsey Chapel, with interment at Timpson Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. She was a 1959 graduate of Joaquin High School, and worked at First State Bank in Carthage over 37 years. Among Jimmie F. Foster Bowlin’s survivors are children, Sherry & Mike Cockerham of Carthage, Todd  & Mindy Casterline of Beckville, and Dawn & Emmit Ritter of Carthage. Four siblings, William Ray & Bell Foster of Old Center, Guy Williard Foster of Timpson, Anita & Herb Singleton of Conroe, and Joy & Jerry Meaux of Carthage. If desired, memorials may be made to the Marian Place Education Fund in Carthage.
