The San Augustine County Commissioners’ Court will have a regular meeting at 9 a.m. this morning and among the agenda items for discussion and appropriate action will be having a drop box for “Cell Phones for Soldiers” at the courthouse; a medical leave request for courthouse maintenance employee Floyd Whiteside; a donation to the county; and notice of VA General Assistance Grant Award.

The court will also consider shared payment of the new San Augustine County Investigator’s insurance premium; the IRS 2015 standard mileage rate; and proposed county credit card use policy.

San Augustine County Commissioners are also to discuss changing the Jan. 13 meeting to Jan. 9.
