Fuel prices have seen another fairly good drop in the past week as prices are at four-year lows.
According to gasbuddy.com, the average price for a gallon of regular gas in Texas is averaging $2.50 a gallon, that's down seven cents in the past week.
In Louisiana, a gallon’s averaging $2.54, down six cents in a week.
Nationally, the average is $2.73, which is seven cents less than last week and 48 cents less from the same time a year ago.
Here at home, checking prices this morning in Center, it remains below the statewide average as the lowest we found was $2.49, down six cents this week at both Wal-Mart, and Brookshire Brothers.
It was $2.47 in Timpson.
