East Texas Poultry Festival Queen's Scholarship Pageant set for Saturday night in Center

The 38th East Texas Poultry Festival Queens Scholarship Pageant sponsored by AEP/SWEPCO will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday evening at Center High School. Shelby County Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Pam Phelps says 10 young princesses are vying for the title. She added they've gone through several weeks of events and activities.

 

Candidates include Alexis Byrd, escorted by Colby Hamilton; Malory Nehring, escorted by Tony Garcia; Julia Garcia, escorted by Parrish Miller; Brylee Hendricks, escorted by Matt Chandler; Macy Mayo, escorted by Brett Clark; Molly Runnels, escorted by Tanner Williams; Abbey Eddins, escorted by Tyler Muckelroy; Jasa Rodgers, escorted by Chris Caudle; Blaire Deal, escorted by Cole Cooper; and Zoey Stuever, escorted by Nathan Stuever.

 

Crowning the winner will be the 2013 queen, Macayla Perry.

 

Admission to the East Texas Poultry Festival Queens Scholarship Pageant is $5.
