The San Augustine County Sheriff's Office continues to search for a suspect in the shooting death of a man whose body was found in his burned out home in March.

Authorities say 62-year old Kavy Neil Sowell was shot several times and his house set on fire.

The Nacogdoches Daily Sentinel reported this week that Chief Deputy Gary Cunningham has said they've received information, but nothing useful.

In addition, San Augustine County officials are still reviewing information after the skeletal remains of a missing woman were found near FM 1196 and CR 347 by a forester in March.

The remains were identified as those of 31-year old Shunte Coleman of Cherokee County, who went missing in 2006.

Chief Cunningham said they have no formal suspect in that case.
