The Joaquin ISD Board of Trustees will set Aug. 28 as the date for a public meeting to discuss the Budget when they meet at 6 p.m. this evening.

The board will also appoint election judges for the Tax Ratification Election on Sept. 13; and will consider changing requirements for transfer students.

They’ll also consider insuring property owners, previously in the Joaquin ISD moved to Shelbyville ISD, that their students may attend Joaquin ISD tuition free.

Trustees are also to discuss Superintendent Phil Worsham’s salary and any resignations, hirings and contracts in executive session. Any action on those items would be done in open session.
