Shelby County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Shad Sparks reports, the sheriff’s office had 765 calls for service for the month of July. He says that number does not include walk in complaints or on view incidents by patrol deputies. Chief Sparks said the information is reported to the Texas Department of Public Safety Uniform Crime Reporting Office in Austin.
