Funeral Notices: 7/21/14

Garrison Funeral Home announces service for 92-year old Alfred L. Hudgins of Longview. He passed away last Thursday in Longivew. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Garrison Funeral Home. Service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cold Spring Baptist Church in Garrison, with military honors graveside at Cole Springs Cemetery under the direction of VFW Post 8904. Among Alfred L. Hudgins survivors are, daughter, Carolyn Pondant of Marshall; sons, Carl Hudgins of Grandbury, Stephen R. Hudgins of San Antonio, and John D. Hudgins of Longview; brothers, Elmer “Bubba” Hudgins of Botaw, and Frank Hudgins of Palestine; sisters, Clara Mittleman of San Antonio, Louise Hal of San Angelo, Margie Starr of Round Rock and Barbara Coggin of San Antonio.

 

Wyman Roberts Funeral Home announces service for 72-year old Mr. Rae Estes of San Augustine. He passed away Saturday in Lufkin. Rae Estes was a general contractor and worked in various fields such as air condition maintenance and general maintenance and construction. Service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel, with interment at Liberty Hill Memorial Garden, San Augustine. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home. Among Rae Estes’ survivors are, sons, Edward Kaemmerling of Sugarland, Quintin Kaemmerling of Flower Mound, Nicholas Estes of Nacogdoches, and Michael Estes of San Augustine; daughters, Laura Wright of Dallas, and Sandy Hearnsberger of Carthage; brothers, Junior McGown of Bossier City, Archie Day of Round Rock, and Curt Goetz of Johannesburg, South Africa.

 

Community Funeral Home of Center announces pending service for 68-year old Mr. Willie Tarver of Tenaha. He passed away last Friday at Memorial Health System of East Texas in San Augustine.
