According to Brittney Johnson with Deep East Texas Electric Cooperative, at approximately 4:00 AM DETEC had several substations at the south end of the system out due to lightening.  This affected approximately 7800 meters in the Pineland, Weirgate, Rayburn Country, Broaddus and Etoile areas.  This outage was restored in less than 2 hours.

Currently they co-op has very few scattered outages across the system.  Crews are currently working to restore power as quickly as possible.  All power is expected to be restored before noon today.
