Kenneth H. Lout, 88, of Shelbyville, passed away Friday, September 29, 2023, in Shelbyville.

Graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Monday, October 2, 2023, at Cannon Cemetery in Shelby County with Bro. Gordon Winslow Jr. and Bro. Derrick Lightfoot officiating.

Visitation will be held prior from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.

Born March 1, 1935, in the Dreka Community of Shelby County, Kenneth is the son of Charlie C. Lout and Dollie Mae Blackstock Lout. He loved to fish, go to church, and spend time with his family. A member of Center First United Pentecostal Church, Kenneth especially loved his brothers and sisters in church.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Lout; son, Robert L. “Rusty” Lout and wife Kim; grandson, Randy Lane Lout, his pride and joy; sister, Carolyn Lout McGee; brother, Randolph Lout; special cousin, Sammie Harbison; brother- in-law, Bob Cannon and wife Wanda; and a host of other relatives, nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Preceded in death by his son, Randy Lout; parents, Charlie C. Lout and Dollie Mae Blackstock Lout; and brothers, Donice Lout and Wilbur Lout.

Pallbearers will be Bobby Addison, Kade Dockens, Chad Gibson, Shad Lout, David Gilchrist, Chris Wheeler, Chad Murray, and Richard Tomlin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Randy Lout, Mike Lengl, Rick Harbison, Chad Haley, and Tom Ainsworth.
