Chuck Roberson, 89, of Tenaha, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2017, in Center.

 

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 10, 2017, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 11, 2017, at First Baptist Church in Tenaha with Pastor Billy McDaniel officiating.  Interment will follow at Old Union Cemetery in Tenaha.

 

Mr. Roberson was born January 11, 1928, in Tenaha, to Horace Greely Roberson and Edith Grace Parker Roberson.  He served in the United States Navy. Mr. Roberson was a member of Business Men’s Club and Tenaha Athletic Booster Club.  He was also a member of First Baptist Church in Tenaha, where he served as Deacon and attended the Men’s III Sunday School Class.
