Merrill Stearns, 92, of Albuquerque, New Mexico, passed away on January 21, 2019 in Albuquerque. She was born on February 19, 1926 in Tenaha, Texas to Hermann Parrish and Hazel Pickford Parrish. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Ramah Cemetery in Tenaha, Texas. 

A visitation will be held from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Mangum Funeral Home. 

Merrill is survived by her husband, Charles Stearns of Albuquerque, New Mexico; son, Jason Stearns and Erika Thomenius of Albequerque, New Mexico; daughter, Penny Casteel and husband, Danny of Houston, Texas; and sister, Jeanne Miller of Center, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Buford Parrish; sister, May Alice Burns; sons, Johnny Osborn and David Osborn; daughter, Peggy Bean; and granddaughter, Megan Mayes.
