Steve Franks, 47, of Timpson, passed away Sunday, January 6, 2019, in Panola County.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, January 12, 2019, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Interment will follow at Elderville Cemetery in Lakeport.  Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 10:00 a.m.

 

Mr. Franks was born January 31, 1971, in Lamar County, to Travis Wayne Franks and Shirley Lee Carrell Franks.  He is survived by his wife, Barbara Franks of Timpson; children, Stephen Douglas Franks and wife Brittnee of Spring, Katrina Yvonne Franks of LaPorte, Michael Anthony Franks of LaPorte, Chelsey Nicole Franks of Timpson, Mackenzie Smith Franks of Timpson, Kylie Smith Franks of Timpson, Kaleb Cole Smith Franks of Timpson; stepchildren, Megan Jackson and husband C.J. of Hallsville, Tyler Jackson of Timpson; grandchildren, Quinn, Hunter, Zayden, Nicholas, Dagon, Pierson, Asher, Arie, Dallas; brothers and sisters, Ronnie and Vickie Franks, Connie Frugia, John and Mary Franks, Lynette and Rodney Durbin, Teresa and Earl Graham, Claude and Reina Franks, Tim and Melissa Franks.

 

Preceded in death by parents, Travis Wayne Franks and Shirley Lee Carrell Franks; best friend, Terry Deyoung.
