Bro. Henry Hughes, 71, of Center, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018, in Center.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, December 13, 2018, at Watson & Sons Funeral
Home in Center.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 14, 2018, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Don
Moore, Bro. Chris Collins and Bro. Keith Keele officiating.
Interment will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center.
Bro. Hughes was born July 4, 1947, in Center, to Thomas Clinton Hughes and Ellie Irene Carter Hughes. He
served as a crew chief for the Texas Highway Department and was a licensed minister for forty years.
Bro. Hughes was a soul winner and his hobby was fishing. He was a member of Providence Missionary Baptist
Church in Center.
He is survived by

Brother: David Hughes and wife, Kathy, of Center

Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends
