Lynda Sue Curtis

 

Lynda Sue Curtis, 68, of Shelbyville, passed away from this life peacefully with Doug by her side on Sunday morning, September 24, 2017.
 
Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 26, 2017, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center.  Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Pastor Lynn Hitt officiating.  Interment will follow at Rather Cemetery in Shelbyville.
 
Lynda S. Curtis was born March 27, 1949, to Tom and Thelma Swanzy of Shelbyville.  She and her husband of 40 years were faithful members of Mission Bend Baptist Church for 39 years, where Lynda served as pianist.  She was a CPA for almost 40 years at Melton and Melton CPA’s of Houston.  One of Lynda’s favorite things to do in the fall was to travel to Colorado every year with Doug and their dear friends, Bro. and Mrs. Francis Crocker.

Parents: Thomas Swanzy and Thelma Doggett Swanzy
 
Pallbearers will be Ron Crocker, Chris Koltonski, Sidney Burns, Ricky Davis, Cody Davis and Dana Weldon. Honorary pallbearers will be Clifford Hamilton, Tommy Gray, John Smith, Keith Risinger, Gary McDonald and Larry McDonald.
