Mary Barton Carter, 87, of the Paxton Community of Shelby County, passed away Sunday, September 3, 2017, in Center.

 

Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 6, 2017, at Old Home Cemetery in Shelby County with Bro. Hollis Bass officiating.  

 

Mrs. Carter was born March 18, 1930, in the Paxton Community of Shelby County, to George Hutto and Rosie Head Hutto.  She was a member of Old Home Missionary Baptist Church in Shelby County.

 

She is survived by

Children:

Polley Eddins and husband, Benny, of Center

George Elton Barton and wife, Lisa, of Joaquin

Danny Wayne Barton of the Paxton Community of Shelby County

Jimmy Barton of the Paxton Community of Shelby County

 

Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren
