Zelna Hughes Belsha, 82, of Joaquin, passed away Friday, September 1, 2017, at her residence. 

 

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, September 4, 2017, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center. Funeral service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 5, 2017, at Watson & Sons Chapel with Bro. Bill Sheffield officiating. Interment will follow at Jackson Cemetery in Shelby County. 

 

Mrs. Belsha was born April 29, 1935, in Joaquin, to Leon G. Hughes and Nellie Lucille Jackson Hughes. She enjoyed gardening and was known for her beautiful flower beds. Mrs. Belsha loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith. 

 

She is survived by

Robert Brian Hooper and wife, Rachael, of Shreveport, Louisiana

Callie Reené Briggs and husband, Jackie, of Logansport, Louisiana 

Amy Diane Fonseca and husband, Rafael, of Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, Burlington County, New Jersey
