J. L. Emmons, 86, of Center, passed away Monday, August 28, 2017, in Center.

 

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 4, 2017, at Watson & Sons Funeral Home in Center with Bro. Don Windham officiating.  Interment will follow at White Rock Cemetery in Center.  Visitation will be held prior to the service, beginning at 12:00 noon.

 

J. L. Emmons was born on February 6, 1931, in Shelby County, to Leland Emmons and Johnie Choate Emmons.  He served in the United States army and was a member of Mt. Calvary Full Gospel Church.

 

He is survived by
