Rayford Kelle Lamkin

 

Rayford Kelle Lamkin, 85, of Center, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at Colonial Pines Nursing Home in San Augustine.
 
Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel with 
Bro.Gordon Vaughn officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be prior to the service starting at noon Sunday, January 22, 2017 at Mangum Funeral Home. 
 
He was born March 19, 1931 in Center to W.C. “Cade” and Lucille (Sanford) Lamkin. He graduated from Center High School in 1949. He served in the US Army from 1954 to 1956. He worked as a service and repair manager for Dr. Pepper/ Coca-Cola Bottling Company in Center for 40 years and he also worked as the night manager at Shelby General Hospital for 20 years. He was a member of St. Marks Methodist Church.
  
He is preceded in death by his Parents, Cade & Lucille Lamkin, sister, Neva Partridge and Mother-in-law, Mary Haycock.
