Gaylon Harvey 70, of Huxley, passed away Thursday, July 14, 2016 at his residence.

 

Services will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wes Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Strong Cemetery in Huxley. Visitation will be Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Mangum Funeral Home. 

 

He was born May 3, 1946 in Center, Texas to John T. “Jake” Harvey and Laura Lee (Fleming) Harvey. He worked at Bruce Hardwood Floors as a lead man and retired after 40 years. He enjoyed fishing, hunting & baling hay. He loved spending time with family and friends. He loved life and he never met a stranger anywhere he went. 

 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jake & Laura Lee Harvey.
