Lillian Loyce Robbins Bittick

 

Lillian Loyce Robbins Bittick, 85, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday June 13 2016 in San Augustine,Tx at Colonial Pines Nursing Home. 
Graveside service will be held Friday, June 17, 2016, at 10:00 a.m. at Old Salem Cemetery in Shelby County. Stephen Stroud will be playing Wings of Gold on his guitar.
She was born on January 28, 1931, in Forest Hill, Louisiana, to Oliver and Martha Jane (Oliver) Robbins. She was a 1948 graduate of Center High School. She was married to Johnnie Bittick for 61 years until his death in 2012. She was a longtime resident of Center and worked various jobs there, including as a nurses aide at the old Center Sanitarium, office positions at Eastex Poultry, Holly Farms, Center Plywood and the Oates Clinic. She was also the owner and operator of a child care center for several years.
She enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening, music, singing and genealogy. She loved spending time with her family, especially her precious grandchildren.
She is survived by brother: Gerald Robbins and wife, Earline, of Seffner, Florida; sister: Dovie Gray Oatman and husband, Richard, of Pleasant Hope, Missouri; sons: Thomas Carroll Bittick of Center; Johnnie Glynn Bittick of Center; David Lee Bittick and wife, Linda, of Westcliffe, Colorado; Larry Daniel Bittick of Center; Jeremy Wade Bittick and wife, Tina, of San Augustine; daughter: Janie Murle Bittick Mulla of Austin; grandchildren: Vicki Bittick McCrimmon and husband, Nate, of Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Bonnie Bittick of Muskegon, Michigan; Quintin Smith, Jr., of Center; Mike Davis and wife, Jessica, of Muskegon, Michigan; Marla Smith Lee of Austin; Shaun Smith and wife, Angela, of Topeka, Kansas; LiAnna Bittick and husband, Wayne Weldin, of Austin; Amy Bittick Bryant and husband, Jasson, of Albany, Georgia; Amanda Bittick of Austin; Penny Bittick Meier and husband, William, of Austin; Joshua Bittick of Austin; Justin Smith of Center; Cameran Bittick of Center; Elizabeth Smith Kilpatrick and husband, Brody, of Joaquin; JuliAnn Bittick Hagar and husband, Christien, of Center; Johnathan Bittick and wife, Molly, of Altus, Oklahoma; 20 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild
