The San Augustine County Commissioners’ Court will meet at 9 this morning and among the items for discussion and possible action, includes the county indigent burial policy; the county jail code upgrade; and a proclamation declaring May as Elder Abuse Prevention Month. In addition, the commissioners will hear a report on the probation office relocation, and on the CERTZ-FEMA rates matching funds report and update. Expected guest include U.S. National Forest Ranger Kimpton Cooper to give an update on the FSR 317 culvert project; and Texas AgriLife District Extension Administrator, who will present the San Augustine County Commissioners’ Court with the “Building a Better Texas” award.
