If you’re looking for a job or maybe looking to change employment, you’ll want to check out the job fair that’s going on today in San Augustine. County officials have teamed up with Tri-County Community Action, Deep East Texas Workforce Solutions and Pilgrim's Pride to bring a job fair to town. The event will be held from 9 to 2 at the Log Cabin.

San Augustine County Judge Samye Johnson says it's great to have a company such as Pilgrim's Pride express an interest in San Augustine County residents to help fill positions.

Judge Johnson added applications will be taken for feed truck drivers and poultry plant production workers at the Nacogdoches facility. She also said the job fair is open to applicants from any county. That’s today from 9 to 2, the Pilgrim's Pride job fair in San Augustine at the Log Cabin.
