Funeral Notices: 4/17/14

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces funeral service for 19-year old Dalton Wayne Williams of Joaquin. He passed away Monday in Joaquin. Service will be at 10 this morning at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at Duncan Cemetery in Shelby County. Among Dalton Wayne Williams survivors are, his father, Vernon Williams of Joaquin; mother, Stephanie Flethcer Pridgen of Joaquin; brothers, Sterling Clinton Williams, Dustin James Pridgen and Stefan Lane Pridgen, all of Joaquin; grandparents, Huey & Becky Fletcher, Debra Waller, and Virginia Kay, all of Joaquin; and great grandparents, Edith Swan and Lucille Fletcher.

 

Mangum Funeral Home announces service for 94-year old Marleta Todd Chadwick of Center. Service will be at 10:30 this morning at First Baptist Church in Center, with burial at Oaklawn Memorial Park. Among Marleta Todd Chadwick's survivors are children, David Chadwick of Center, Martha Lou Scott of Waco, and Carleta Sandeen of Houston. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Center, the Chadwick Endowed Scholarship of East Texas Baptist University, the Chadwick Family Endowed Scholarship at Baylor University, or Fannie Brown Booth Library in Center.

 

Watson & Sons Funeral Home announces service for 92-year old Marie Cannon Manning of Waco, formerly of Center. Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 today at Watson & Sons Funeral Home. Service will be at 2 Friday at Watson & Sons Chapel, with interment at Oaklawn Memorial Park in Center. Among Marie Cannon Manning's survivors is her daughter, Renee Manning Johnson of Marlin.

 

Hicks Mortuary of Center announces service for 73-year old Patricia Polley of Center. Service will be at 1 Friday at Mt. Zion CME Church in Center, with burial at McWilliams Cemetery in Shelbyville. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening at Hicks Chapel  Among Patricia Polley's survivors are, daughters, Fonda Polley & Brandi Polley of Center; step-daughter: Vivian Polley Cartwright (Clifton) of Tenaha; Brothers, Douglas Himes of Dallas & Standley Himes of Center; and Sisters, Feleshia Cochran of Ft. Worth & Dr. Shannon Suber of Dallas.

 

Community Funeral Home of Center announces service for 72-year old Thomas Ray Buckley of Center. He passed away last Thursday morning in Dallas. A Wake will be from 6 to 8 Friday at Community Funeral Home in Center. Service will be held at 11 Saturday at Bethelham Baptist Church in Mansfield, La., with interment at Bethelham Cemetery. Among Thomas Ray Buckley’s survivors are his wife, Eliza Buckley of Mansfield; 3 brothers, Joe Robertson of Phoenix, AZ; Clifford Capiti of Nacogdoches; and Tommy Capiti of Nacogdoches; and 2 sisters, Margie Gaines of Houston and Sharon Williams of Nacogdoches.

 

Community Funeral Home of Center announces service for 4-month old Kaleigh JaNae Jenkins. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 Friday at Community Funeral Home. Service will be at 1 Saturday at Loop 500 Church of Christ in Center. Among Kaleigh JaNae Jenkins' survivors are her parents, James and LaMetra Jenkins; siblings: ZaMarkus Moton, Ellis Ray Hoyt, Jamie Jenkins, Justin Jenkins, Kenneth Jenkins, James Jenkins, Tommy Lee Jenkins, Leslie Holman, Elizabeth Jenkins, and LaShanzdoil Harris; and grandparents, Billy and Kathryn Cartwright, and the late Ennis and Lurlean Jenkins.
