The Shelby County Sheriff's Department is investigating a shooting death in the Joaquin area. Investigator D.J.  Dickerson said his department was called Monday to a reported shooting incident in a wooded area on FM 2787. Authorities arrived to find 19-year old Dalton Williams deceased from a single gunshot wound to the head. Investigator Dickerson said Justice of the Peace Pct. 3 Margie Anderson performed an inquest and an autopsy was ordered.
